• Todd Bradberry YMCA Bio

Todd’s YMCA story began the story of his life and enterprise. After graduating high school, Todd left Southwest Virginia for Northwoods Camp in Wolfboro, NH, on the shores of Lake Winnepesauke, where “On Golden Pond” was filmed. He worked the summer of 1982 as horseback instructor and cabin counselor for 11-12 year-old boys, many from troubled homes in inner city Boston. It was during that summer, while earning a total of $600, Todd dedicated himself to the study and pursuit of leadership. He has since repaid the YMCA that $600.

Todd and his high school sweetheart, Beth, married in 1985, while both were Virginia Tech students. Todd then began a 20 year career in corporate America that took them from Roanoke to Charlotte, Nashville, Albuquerque, back to Roanoke, Chesapeake, and finally, Richmond. Todd picked up an MBA from Tech and, thankfully, Beth followed and they welcomed John and Emma along the way. Beth is cofounder of The Roseline Group, an accounting and financial services firm. All four Bradberry’s now live in the Fan area of Richmond, but thankfully the nest itself is empty.

In 2004, Todd was named COO of Goodwill Virginia, responsible for the donated goods enterprise. In less than four years, his team almost tripled gross revenue and net contribution to the mission. Goodwill grew from 8 to 22 stores, from 300 to 600 associates. They rebranded from green to the Goodwill blue you see today, and decentralized donations processing. Most of all, they completely transformed team culture.

Since 2013, Todd had served as a management guide for dozens of teams and organizations, for-profit and cause-driven. He will tell you there should be no difference between the two. As an award-winning business coach, he serves Manager at all levels – those hearty souls with a team and a budget, struggling to balance the process and the personal.

    Please welcome Todd Bradberry.
